The 4th week of Marathon....

Morning had our Gerontology test in Lecture hall.. Still manage to do the paper la..just that, some MCQs i done le, than i go n change to an answer which is wrong..lolx.. So now i shall really trust my 1st instinct..hahax..After the paper, we were told that each of the class have at least 50% of failure for the Bio science test 1 which were just over last thursday.. And we were being scolded till like siao lo.. So we really gonna buck up le..yupx..

After tat, we had our SIM Training.. Lucky i got do the worksheet that was given to us last week..hahax.. During this SIM training was like hell lo ! My head was sooo pain after the lesson.. We were asked to recap all the theories from 1.1 till now.. goodness.. We gave back teacher our knowledge after our exams..lolx.. Than teacher keep drilling us back all the knowledge..Than we had role-play, which was a emergency one.. The situation of the patient was very urgent..than some of my nursing mates were being called out to "assist" the doctor..But as usual, everyone got so panic n their minds were in blank..which made them don noe what to do.. N there are lots of error n mistake that occurs during the Role-play..Such as: Giving patient Ventilation-Mask but never on the FlowMeter for oxygen, n patient were out of breathe for a long time.. Collecting urine specimen using the wrong techniques n without infection control.. Giving wrong Insulin to patient n wrong charting.. despatchment of collected blood wrongly.. Wrong placement n reading when doing ECG..Than due to the Negligence, the "patient" were pronounce dead after a few hours as there were no correct treatment done for the patient immediately.. Though this were only role-play, but in real life in hospital, it really have similar scenerio that happens.. If the patient were to pass away bcos of the delay treatment n negligence of nurses, it will be brought up as a court case..n nurses will have to face serious consequences.. Nurses really have lots of responsibility.. So lets strive to be the best nurses ba ! hahax.. Teacher told us this:" We still can allow u all to make mistake during SIM training in school, but we cant afford to let u all make any single mistake during attachment in hospital, cause we are dealing with REAL n SERIOUSLY ILL patient.." That's very true, so we must learn from our mistake in school n prevent it from repeating it during our posting in hospital..

After a stress morning, had our lunch at Library Cafe.. The food standard really dropping lo ! lolx..but nvm la.. Than went for Bio science.. Had a fun lesson thruout..though there are still some topics i don understand..but in order to score n understand well, i must definitely get myself involve in lessons without fail.. yupx.. Jiayou lo ! Went to change into PE Attire n went for PE.. Jogged 2 rounds the track..Was feeling quite breathless after awhile cause of the phlegm in my throat n there is blockage that prevents gas-exchange..That's the reason why we were being emphasize not to go for exercise when u r sick..U MIGHT COLLAPSE ! lolx.. But wanna faster clear my NAFA Test, so just have to endure lo..hehex..than went to play tennis..hahax.. We were taught how to play tennis.. Was a fun game ! though my wrist is somehow tired la..hahax..cause most of the strength is from our wrist.. but was a great game played.. Tmr first lesson is PE le, tink will be having our 2.4km run.. or mayb continue our 5 stations..Depends le ! Hope everythings well tmr ba.. Last lesson was Project Management.. Were release early ard 5.30pm..

In MRT, i coughed for about 30seconds after having a joke with caiyun.. Than the aunty beside mi was like shunning away from mi..As if saw a ghost ! I noe this period of time is a crucial time as there is a wide spread of Viruses n illness..Taking precaution is a MUST n NEEd..but..no nid so till the extend, that so obvious u r shunning away ba..No matter what, even if u were to shun, u will nv get away from the viruses as u r in the same environment n the air u breathe in is already filled with lots of viruses..

Lots of people are down with Fever, flu, cough recently.. Especially my class ! Goodness ! U'll be shock if u were to be in my class... terrible ! Hell lots of ppl taking MC with high fevers, bad cough..! People. seriously must be very careful n take care of ur health.. We are left with a few weeks to our destination of our marathon.. Be well n endure thru.. Is just a few more short distance of run ! Do not GIve up ! God Bless...

On train back, i was having bad headace..Which made mi feel like vomitting..haix.. Than quickly went home..had a shower than chat on phone with dear.. Than halfway, he told mi he got a second call n were on hold.. Than when he switch back, he told mi to go to my doorstep there..I was like so puzzled..wonder what had happen.. Than i went out, to my surprise, i saw him with a pack of Strepsils-Blackcurrent flavour ! Is an antiseptic Lonzenges.. Oh My Goodness ! I was so touch at that moment ! I was speechless ! He's always the one to surprise mi with all this.. Despite having a tired day at work, he still makes the effort to go buy the Lonzenges n deliver it directly to my house.. OH Gosh ! I love you man ! Really tks so much.. U too must take care oh !
